Will the CEOs of Screams open applications again and if so, when?Yes, we plan to open applications again around June 2026.
How does it work?We will announce the opening about a week in advance so more people have a fair chance and do not miss it.
How long will the applications be open? The last two times we opened applications, we received over 200 submissions in less than two days. We expect something similar this time. Because we take the time to thoroughly review every application, the form will be open for a maximum of three days. We may close it earlier if we receive too many submissions to review fairly and thoroughly.
How many members will you take in?Our cap for team size is about 100 members. Right now we have 12 spots left. This number may change by June since members sometimes leave for various reasons, which opens new spots. The biggest batch we have ever taken at once, outside of the initial founding, was 16 people. That will likely remain the maximum.
Why cap at 100 members? There are two reasons. First, the team is meant to be a tight knit community where people actually know each other and can help each other with their knowledge, expertise and experience. At 100 people we are already pushing the edge of what still feels tight knit.
The second reason is that team lead Sumimee wants to know members on a personal level and be there for them when they need her. For her, 100 is the personal limit she can realistically care for.
All members of the CEOs of Screams must be over 18.
We are looking for streamers with a strong brand or identity, or at least the potential to develop one in a short time.
Streamers who play a variety of horror games or create different types of horror content (e.g. Horror make up, Horror related reaction content, Horror sculpturing) are preferred over streamers who focus on only one game. We do make exceptions if someone has that certain something that clearly makes them stand out.
We expect a certain amount of activity in our Discord community and support for other CEOs members. This can look very different from person to person. Join community events, share game reviews and let the team know if a game is worth playing, post tutorials and knowledge. We provide a member manual with a long list of ways to stay active. Of course there are exceptions when life is tough or busy, but we need to be made aware.
Taking part in at least one team charity campaign per year is mandatory. If you do not want to do charity work, you cannot be a member of the CEOs.
Respecting and representing the full spectrum of the horror community is important to us. We’re proudly inclusive, and there is no room for bigotry
The things we say and the way we present ourselves can reflect on the group as a whole and can affect potential partnerships with developers and brands. Therefore, it is important that members of the team remain professional outside of the team as well.
